Things are already starting to heat up between Phil Heath and Kai Greene, starting at a recent show where Phil was guest posting and Kai Greene was in the audience. As soon as Phil Heath realized that his biggest rival was sitting in the crowd, Phil grabbed the mic and started talking.
It sounded like the host wanted to get Kai up on stage for an impromptu pose-off, which is frankly kind of disrespectful to Kai who hasn’t been paid to get on stage and hasn’t had any preparation or advanced warning, but people will try to create drama wherever they can, right?
Phil Heath got it right when he said they should wait until September, hinting at the possibility of Kai showing up for this year’s Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas.

It’s still up in the air as to whether or not Kai Greene is going to compete at this year’s Mr. Olympia after a drama-filled 2014 where himself and Heath were constantly jockeying for position, getting into little shoving matches, talking tons of trash, and generally just not liking each other (But generating a lot more buzz for the event than usual.) Kai sat out the 2015, instead going on to clean up at several Arnold events instead.
We’re hoping that whatever was wrong in 2015 can get sorted out so that we can see Kai on stage against Phil once more. Let’s be real, this is the match up that everyone wants to see.
