Powerhouse Gym is one of the few remaining true hardcore places to train, you won’t find any lunk alarms or toostie rolls here. Not only is this place home to some of the strongest people to ever lift, it’s also the only place that you’ll find the world’s largest dumbbell (and that’s not a co-incidence.)
They keep it locked away in The Vault so that normal people don’t ruin the patina on the iron.
Lifting this 375lb monster is kind of like picking up Thor’s hammer or King Arthur pulling the sword out of the stone. Most people can’t do it, and only the chosen few will ever know what it feels like to even try.
So it’s no wonder that a guy like Bradley Martyn made the pilgrimmage to The Vault to lift up something that’s very, very heavy. If you’d expect anything different, you’re probably new here. Don’t say a word about having perfect form, that’s not what this is about.
