David Lengauer has been taking the online fitness world by storm, every single week he reaches millions of people with his positive messages and encouragement to help them turn their lives around and he’s amassed about a million followers of his own. A million people who are taking steps to turn their lives around and to achieve their goals, that’s no joke.
This Austrian social activist, athlete, and entrepreneur has his own way of doing things.
One of David’s clients showing off his new found guns.
Whether someone is already in pretty decent shape and just looking to put the cherry on top, or if they’re just starting their fitness journey and desperately in need of some guidance from a pro – David understands that no two journeys are alike, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution, so his methods are adaptable for anyone.
His business model of selling training programs online means that he can provide his training advice and experience to a lot more people than if he was just working with clients one on one in person. He’s able to reach the entire internet instead of just his own city. This also means he can charge a lot less per client, so everybody wins.
Now this is what you call results.
We caught up with David (Which isn’t easy to do unless you’re a client, this guy is always on the move) and asked him to hook up our readers with 3 tips that you’d find inside one of his paid programs, for free. It’s not always easy to get somebody to give something away that they normally charge well-deserved money for, but when they’re as passionate about helping people reach their goals as David is, it’s not like we had to pull teeth, he was eager to help you guys out.
In the spirit of his programs, and having something for everyone, we asked for David’s top piece of advice in the following 3 categories:
What’s your best advice for someone who is just starting out?
Keep at it and work hard. If you want to get something in life then it is time for you to crush it. When it comes to natural bodybuilding or fitness in general you need to stay patient and work very hard for your goals. Nothing great comes easy.
Workout on a consistent basis, try to never miss a workout and you’ll have a better body than 95% of the rest of the world. Of course you also need to choose the right approach to get good results in two years but the most important thing is to never stop training. If you stop after a couple of months everything you worked for is gone after a couple of months. So always keep at it and never give up!
What’s your best advice for somebody who is already a beast, to take it to the next level? In other words, what’s something that most serious gym freaks are missing, or a small tweak that can give big results?
Advanced lifters should really try to optimize everything because as a natural bodybuilder it gets harder and harder to make real gains the longer you already train. With this optimization I mean the optimization of training and nutrition. On the training level this would be things like recovery, workload for your specific goals and training frequency.
On the nutrition level this would be things like finding a balance between life (eating out with friends) and healthy nutrition as well as optimal macro-nutrients ratios that are dedicated to your goals. You really have to take your knowledge to the next level to make constant progress when you’re advanced.
What’s your best piece of advice for female clients in particular?
Don’t be afraid of training the best movements for fitness with heavy weights. Use movements like squats, deadlifts, lunges and also do the bench press and pull ups or at least variations of them. Many females are afraid that they get bulky when they use those movements but thats complete bullshit.
As a female you won’t get bulky unless you train for many years or you abuse performance enhancing drugs. I know girls that can squat 100 kgs for multiple reps and they don’t look bulky at all. They rather look fit and toned, but never bulky. So don’t be afraid to do the movements I mentioned above and train hard.. you’ll love it!
If this isn’t a life-changing transformation, what is?
Obviously, this is just the tip of the iceberg and if you really want to dig in and get personalized help from David, you’re going to have to open up your wallet. The good news is that you can grab his stuff for less than a month of membership at the gym. If you had to choose between a gym membership for 12 months out of the year, or a gym membership for 11 months + David’s program, the latter is almost certainly going to benefit you a lot more. Super-charge your training with professional help at a fraction of the cost of having an in-person trainer. Do things at your own pace, on your own schedule, and make sure you come back and share your progress with us.
Davis isn’t one of those greasy snake oil guys that you’ll see all over the internet who promise you the world then disappear before you have a chance to call them out. You’ll notice all of the before/after pictures of his clients are realistic and attainable. Instead of promising the world and leaving people disappointed, David would rather help people set realistic goals and then tcrush o those goals. He’ll give you a couple weeks to check everything out, if you aren’t happy with it – he doesn’t even want your money, you can have it back.
