Lady-lifters aren’t any different than their male counterparts when it comes to wanting to build as much muscle as they possibly can, at least in some cases.
A lot of women are afraid to lift weights because they’re worried about getting “bulky” (As if it just happens overnight by accident…), but some women have no fear at all.
Here she is before getting really hardcore about bodybuilding, and way before the roids have taken their toll:
Meet the fearless Denise Rutkowski, who used to be a competitive bodybuilder taking ridiculous amounts of roids, hormones, Testosterone and who knows what else?
One thing’s for sure, these guns aren’t natty. And that’s okay.
But taking a lot of “special supplements” to achieve a huge physique has plenty of downsides, too.
It’s expensive, it’s dangerous, and years later it can take quite a toll on the human body. We’ll get to the “AFTER” pictures shortly, but for now soak up the “BEFORE”s:
It looks like the roids are starting to kick in…
But if there’s one thing we know about gains…
It’s that these gains aren’t loyal
It’s common for professional bodybuilders to fly a little too close to the sun, and it’s usually pretty rough once they come back down to earth.
She was an absolute beast, there are plenty of men out there who will never come close to what she was able to achieve with her physique. In the mid ’90s, she started travelling the country to promote the word of God, and by 2001 she had started training again, but soon she would get arrested for evading arrest (That’s got to be one of the most ironic charges…)

She got picked up by the law in Texas for evading arrest after travelling the country to spread the gospel. No doubt it’s been an interesting and unique road for Denise, but despite some setbacks later on, she still achieved incredible things during her professional career.
If Frodo and Splinter hooked up…
But it all seriousness, it seems like she’s had a rough patch, and has allegedly had some issues with drug addiction and the law, so we’re sending our best to Denise and hopefully all that bad stuff is behind her.
Going from placing at one of the top competitions, to wondering “What’s next?” can’t be an easy task, and all of the temptations of being famous (Even if it’s only among bodybuilders) can certainly take their toll.
