Lee Priest is like a wise old elder for bodybuilders, sort of, anyways.
He knows his stuff, he doesn’t keep his opinions to himself, and he’ll always tell you exactly how it feels.
Bostin Loyd posts all sorts of videos about using roids, and Lee Priest things it’s pretty irresponsible because it’s going to encourage uneducated kids to start juicing without knowing what they’re doing.
“For all those drugs, that’s the best you look…?”
“If Bodybuildings all drugs, those ones aren’t working for ya…” – Lee Priest
He goes on to say that no matter how many roids Bostin and his buddies take, they’ll never have the proper genetics to look great.
He says its a stupid video because kids are going to end up harming themselves by trying to be like Bostin. He thinks they’re taking way too much, setting a bad example, and don’t even look good at the end of the day.
“Sadly, there are kids out there who are going to watch that and follow it and do it and it’s just stupid.”
These guys are injecting themselves without being in a sterile environment. That’s just foolish. They’re taking big risks, and bragging about it for Youtube views. Sure, everything’s fine most of the time… but that’s just until something goes wrong.
“Sadly, that’s what bodybuilding is becoming now. Videos, and the internet, and people follow them…”
On the one hand, having information readily availiable is good. It’s never bad to have info available for people who want to learn to do something correctly. If you’re going to do something, make sure you’re doing it safe. The downside is that it gives everyone a voice, so peopple who don’t really know what they’re doing are able to start teaching other people, and the people looking up to them don’t know enough to know how wrong they are. Then those people go on and start having a voice online to teach other people, and you end up with mountains and mountains of misinformation and broscience.
