Yesterday we took a look at the guy that everyone is calling Phil Heath’s twin, not so much because the guy actually looked like Phil but more so because he claimed to be 100% natty and that was funny to most people.
Today, we’ve got a more striking resemblance.
Now, Rasheed Oldacre has still got a way to go before he catches up to Prime Ronnie, but the guy’s still a beast. If we held everyone to the same standards as Ronnie Coleman in his prime, that just wouldn’t be fair.
Rasheed recently turned pro, so give him some props on that. He’s earned some strong finishes lately, so you should definitely expect to see more of this guy…
Maybe twin was a bit of an exaggeration, but can you see the resemblance? If he keeps it up, do you think he’ll be giving Ronnie a run for his money in a few more years?
Ronnie Coleman is a legend, and he’s still putting in work. It takes a lifetime of dedication to reach the peak of this sport, not just because it takes a long time to build up the necessary physique, but because it’s going to take a toll on the body long after the lights and cameras and judges have faded. Many former pros are dealing with all sorts of injuries and issues, but there aren’t too many of them who would say it wasn’t worth it, or who would want to go back in time and change things.
Ronnie Coleman famously said that his biggest regret was that he didn’t lift even heavier.
